The website “538” has a very interesting article on how “science isn’t broken”
and it talks about science and the method it uses to gain information.
I am not tech enough to link the article on this site, ( I hope someone with more
tech knowledge does link the article over here) Anyway, I think this
article really does a good job of explaining how science really work
and the bias that we all have, changes science and what can be done
about it.
Due to the number of screw-ups, I would have to say that “Yes, it IS broken”. The fact that IF everything was done properly, despite the fact that it almost cannot be done exactly properly (according to the excuses), then everything would be good, is testimony that “Science” is no longer a reliable source for truth, most especially in political arenas.
Tampered statistics is the norm, not the exception.
You have not downloaded the whole article, which is one way
to support your bias. The article in question is a rather long one, I admit,
but the conclusions reached are different than your conclusions, and the
article would have said so, had you downloaded the whole thing.
