There are exactly THREE orthogonal axes
available.
There are no more.

There are 3 planes. If you define a rotation, you make
the first plane. If you define a second rotation
orthogonal to the first, you make a second plane
ORTHOGONAL to the first. If you COMBINE the two
rotations, as the animation does above, you sweep
out a spherical volume.

The only thing left is whether it’s an UP spherical volume
or a DOWN spherical volume.
