my response to anti-globalist

I have been thinking about this for a few days…
but I have to lay out the ground work…

we have political systems and we have economic systems…

among the political systems are:

Anarchy, city-state, democracy, feudalism, dictatorship, meritocracy,
monarchy, republic, oligarchy, aristocracy… to name a few possible
political systems…

and to name a few economic systems:

Capitalism, communism, distribution, feudalism, mercantilism, socialism,
mix system, hunter gather…

again we have other economic systems but you get the idea…

now note, that capitalism and communism is listed as economic systems…

this is important…when people like wendy and void and fixed raise
their voice against communism… they are making a basic mistake…
they mistake communism as a political system and not the economic
system that it is…

you can have any type of political system and any type of economic
system… you can mix and match political systems with any type
of economic system… you can have capitalism (economic) with
a dictatorship (political) you can have a democracy with communism
the mixing of a political system with a economic system…

the failure of the soviet union under lenin and stalin was that
they stretch an economic system into a political system…
and this is what the anti-globalist fear… but they haven’t separated
out the political system with the economic system…
that is the anti-globalist mistake…
the anti-globalist mistake the economic system with the political
system…

globalism is an economic system already in place… we trade globally
already… every country trades with just about every other country…
this is globalism at work…but globalism in this fashion is NOT an
political system… and if turned into a political system, it will fail…

the real problem is we don’t have a political system in place that
is the political equivalent of globalism… we have widely divided
and separated political systems that are unable to cope with the
effects of economic globalism… and this is the source of the
current problems economically and politically…
we have not expanded our political system to
to match out economic system…now we can use say, democracy
as our political system in regards to globalism, an economic system
or we can use dictatorship (political) to match globalism, economic…

our political systems has not been expanded enough to solve
the current problems created by globalism… big multinational
corporations are global and we don’t have a political system that is global
that can reign in multinational corporations…
if you look at the world’s issue’s, multinational corporations are
in many ways, one of the leading problems in the world today
and we must find a solution to being able to contain big corporations
that span over many countries and many different continents…

we cannot turn globalism into a political system because it will
fail as such but if we make or find a way to turn our current political
system or systems into being able to contain multinational corporations,
we will be much better off and this is where we are at…

Wendy’s dystopia is really a question of an economic system running
amok and not being controlled or contained by an political system…

once we have a political structure big enough to control multinational
corporations, we will have a much easier time of containing the world’s
problems… so the question becomes simple, what political
system is best for individuals and also controls multinational corporations?

we don’t need to create a dystopian world to reign in multinational
world, we just have to expand or create a new political structure…
it isn’t really that hard… we just have to decide and make it happen…

Under one government, all the people of the world will be subjugated by that one government who will have absolute authority on every aspect of your lives and all you talk about is international trade which you think is apart of your communist agenda? It’s international trade kept so because it is nation based. Your Globalism is a proposal for tyranny made up of one government who is run by the monopoly of businesses until there is only one business run by that government. One government, one business, one type of law, one people who are slaves to it all. Why can’t you comprehend that it’s a very bad move towards individual small businesses and individual people giving up their freedoms with NO RECOURSE?

I wish you would take your ideals to Mars and set up your tyranny there.

K: you are mistaking an economic system with a political system…
we can have any type of political system we want with this global economic
system we have…a economic system stretch to be a political system will fail…
simple as that… I have argued against the tyranny of capitalism for
a long time…and I have argued for the individual for a long time…
what I have argued for is the simple… I want changes to the economic system
and I want to strengthen and increase our current political system…
I don’t believe we have a true democracy because of money in the political
system… money that buys influence is fatal to a system of representative
democracy…because of the money… representatives are beholden to
those who buy the representatives and not to those who voted for them…
and that is clearly what has happened in the U.S… that and gerrymandering
that has allowed representatives to pick their constituents and not the constituents
to pick their representatives…those are the two major changes I would make
to the political system right now…my position is far more moderate then
yours because it is not based on paranoid conspiracy theories…I wish to
strengthen the democratic process by removing the money within the process…

I wish to strengthen the democratic process far more then you do…
I believe the founding fathers real contribution was not in the protection
of the majority but in the protection of the minorities to engage in
dissent… I believe we must strengthen that aspect of the founding
fathers ideal…

unlike you, I do understand the difference between the political
and the economic…we must dial the political up and the economic
down…which means we must engage politically more and
the economic less…

this dam eclipse is distracting me…

anyway…I encourage the engagement of the individual far
more then you do because I want the individual to become
far more aware of both the political and the economic…
more aware and more active… I wish a more nuanced approach to
government then you do… government in the hands of the people
can accomplish many great and wonderful things but we do not
have a government of the people right now…we have government
that has been bought by the wealthy and the corporations…
not in some wild eye conspiracy theory, but in a practical
sense that has flown from citizens united… the single worse
supreme court decision since bush vs gore… those are one and two worst
court decisions since dred scott…

anyway… I want the government to play a role in
economic activity for example, keynesian economics where
the government plays a major role in keeping the economy going…
we must have a even role between government and the people
and business… I don’t hate individuals, I just want them to
have role equal to government and business…

You are lying now. You want a global government which is not the USA’s government. You want a global economy monopolized by that new government which is not the USA government. Stop with your lying!

Currently, americans hold some 40% of the world’s wealth. Globalism is designed to increase that number. It’s good for america. America invented the modern version of globalization.

Alas, some undereducated white guys in the midwest thought they aren’t getting enough of that wealth. Perhaps they’re right. But the pie is pretty big.

If I were not either an american or living in a country friendly to the U.S., I guess I’d hate globalism.

No communist can manage globalism. Russia had a big front yard for a while, but those days are over.

Peter’s the only real commie left.
