UK election

Here is an interesting take on the election they just had. I didn’t like May or Corbyn, of course, but I had assumed that May was the lesser of two evils in this case. But Styx has a point about her comments about internet censorship. As he said, if you want to destroy your own culture all you have to do is take away the ability of your citizens to communicate freely (paraphrase).

If May and the more globalist/neocons of the “conservatives” in the U.K. gets limited and are forced to become more actually conservative, and if the socialists are still kept from wielding power and from opening the borders completely and stalling out Brexit, then yeah maybe the election results aren’t actually too terrible. Of course I still think the parliamentary system is not nearly as efficient and good as the US system wherein one person/party gains control of the executive branch in a winner take all fashion.

I welcome your ideas and feedback on these issue.

The hung parliament definitely makes it harder for any backstabbing behind the curtain slick liars to quickly push through evil reforms
It had the look of it that May was going to use the London Bridge attacks as a pretext to put in some totalitarian censorship mechanisms, but damn did it get botched.

Whats good for sovereignty here is that no corporocrat has a carte blanche now.
