For some years I've been interested in the ideas of Max Stirner. Stirner's idea of organising society was based on the union of egoists. He taught to live yourself out, own yourself and to own the world as a means to self-fulfilment. It seems to me that the best way to reach self-fulfilment is to socialise our desires. Expanding our greed to link up with like minded individuals. But communist economies are very delicate and fragile. Maybe it is possible to keep the markets in a new system, but, to provide communist fraternities for those who wish to live as such. These fraternity members need not live as a commune but as a city network. Security, education, health etc. could all be provided by these fraternities. Maybe marriage could be abolished for some kind of alternative system. If you avoid a commune you can avoid the group think and mind slavery of the commune.
