… all based on user input - you guys have to see this thing called the meaning map. it’s sortof an alternative to forums. it’s political interaction with a very large group of people with varying ideologies, and still keep things rational (not “rational” in the economist’s sense - i just mean based on reasons)
it’s hard to describe, but i’ll try… people post opinions, others vote on them, and then the patterns of votes cause the opinions to pull and push on each other, resulting in a big animated swooping cool looking rearrangement of these colored opinion-balls, and when they come to rest it’s supposed to represent opinion space, only it’s “the real thing, based on statistics” - it can be anything, because it’s just based on the votes! very cool to see. i can’t wait to see the kind of discussion that goes on here mapped out…
