What happened?

Whatever happened occurred in the celestial realm … in the stars. Taking the astrologers assertions as factual, something unusual certainly happened … in the heavens so to speak … on September 23rd.

Seems the effect on the planet was misread, misunderstood, mis-guessed … doesn’t mean there has been no effect on the planet or on humanity.

Speculation once again proved futile … suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.

It’s possible that the astrologers either didn’t know or ignored the fact that the exact same celestial alignment of the stars has happened four times in recorded history. Like all end of times prognostications (so far) there is always some convoluted explanation why the world didn’t end this time. But every natural disaster is seen as “proof” that the end of times is just around the corner, or that a god is punishing (name the group) someone for crimes of wickedness and evil. Still, we seem to continue bumbling along. I guess we’re just lucky or maybe unlucky since the rapture has failed to begin yet. The only effect on the planet I can see is either elation or depression depending on hopes and wishes.

Hold on! We have a new date! Meade is now predicting that October 13th will begin the “Seven years tribulation” which is some obscure evangelical prediction. Supposedly, the earth will have to endure seven years of catastrophic events which will signal the end of earth scenario. It’s a great scam. Every earthquake, tornado, hurricane, volcanic eruption, will be touted as a “sign”. And Meade gets to ride that pony for seven years and no one can declare him wrong. On the plus side, we no longer have to plan anything longer than seven years. Ain’t we lucky?
