Without virtues, there is no good.

A list of virtues which define what is good in a man or woman, goodness that separates a man from a monster in an animal’s body. For a human being, these virtues define their goodness and from their goodness, more goodness arises. Goodness, found in these virtues is objective, however the behaviors exhibiting these goods are subjective.

The mormons say that God is the best thing and all good comes from God.
I see goodness and virtues as vital.
Vital for life and progress.
That which is vital can exist with or without a god figure.

Well, supposedly God imbued our very souls with virtues that form our consciences. pilgrim tom wrote something about that occurrence in an older thread, maybe I’ll ask him to repost it.

How can I correctly measure a good person?

That’s difficult.
You’d need to be a master.

My naivety messes up the realistic accounting necessary or is it that I refuse to accept that people can be rooted in evil? :confused:
