I hope to find reality to be unwritten. That there are great levellers like death, and that we inherit everything we are, suggests an effort to be unwritten. To have a level playing field yields the ultimate challenge, predetermination yields only the product of itself.

Because a national history needs humanity, a national history being able to watch television as a representation of progression would seem problematic. If human beings watching tv isn’t progression, or at least isn’t progression relative to national history, yet national history doing so is, that definitely seems like a problem.
