Because videogames.
Have you ever though of the fact of how videogames strive to mimick the physics of Reality. Why?
Because our physics are the most fun, best physics and math of the universe.
Could it be that this is virtual reality and the actual universe we live in had boring physics, so the physics we see today are specially crafted to be the most “fun” possible?
