The Ten Decent Rules

Thou shalt not commit adultery.
→ Don’t become a slutty ho.

  1. don’t have commandments. God hasn’t really made any, if he was the kinda guy who made his presence felt, now would be the ideal time to do that ~ with all the cameras etc we have.

Thou shalt not bear false witness.
→ Don’t tell any real bad porkies.

To be continued…

Thou shall not steal.
→ Get legit.

Thou shall not kill.
→ Leave the killing up to God.

PS Amorphos: The Ten Decent Rules are really just a few simple morals for decent guys to live by; take it as you will.

sure, but any simple man understands right and wrong in simple terms. if God was going to make commandments, surely they would contain the wisdom of the ages, and would not have instances pertaining to the past culture. God would know the future and would probably have written a very expansive philosophy book. he may well have simple rules too, but they would be ones which read the same throughout the ages of man.

edit; why did he make a world with causality which messes all that up, where people have no say in their fate? in such instances.

What are you even talking about? “A world with causality” You are just tossing that word around like a biscuit.
So you propose he makes a world where nothing moves?

no I was using it exactly, because causality makes things happen to you that you have no control over.

Who redeems the entire past, to the greater joy of the future? The typical world redeemer might get bogged down in centuries-old dogma but his contemporary counterpart truly knows the world belayed by scientific fact, finding himself free to be a decent man as a result.

PS I’ve made some corrections. And to be sure, the dogma floating typical world redemption has persisted for milennia.

You are talking out your ass man. You asked “why did he make a world with causality which messes all that up, where people have no say in their fate? in such instances.”

As if he could make a world with no causality where nothing moves.

Impious: fount of final knowledge become flesh and blood or simple wilderbeast between homes? Decent prophet or mouser?

Don’t try to fix everything. It’s impossible.

D3R7:Pure insinuation or senseless doubt? What do men of race really want in the end anyway, does it even come from God?

Thou shall not become a dictating douche…

Rule #1: Keep trying to be decent.
#2: Discover what it means to be decent.
#3: Keep trying to make your dedication to #1 apparent.
#4: Encourage others to be decent.
#5: Don’t worry about if you never complete #1, #3, or #4.

Trixie

That’s true, but It could have had free-will or at least ultimate self-command. He could say ‘hello’ too! - so we would know there is more to the world than the world. He could have given us the ability to move between worlds rather than an iron ceiling too. I know you can do that anyway, but how can we know that’s not an illusion when presented with a world where everything can be put down to causes in the world?
