Ram
Aries home of Ares
Spring-Time, Persephonic electricity, courage to do the ultimate.

That which is born from the unfathomable sea of bliss first
that which knows itself as it goes, that which has no past but the fullness of life

As noted, David Starling associates Mars through Aries with Demeter and Persephone.

Aries: Sun and Mars. Impulsive when the impulse guarantees a path. Adventure or … adventure. Or death. But that too is encountered as adventure. Adventure is in the eyes, in the firs glance. Darkness is the result. Darkness that transitions into the physical world though he slippery slope of pleasure, aka reality.
(that slope - not pleasure)

Aries - the courage to do the impossible. “prelude to a philosophy of the future”; “It was impossible to do, but the Dragon did not know that, and did it.” -Theodora Lau
As first signs of their Zodiacs, Aries and the Dragon correspond to each other as the fiery impulse that knows that it will be consumed, so it better be the one to consume.

The intention of the circle, the unfolding “straight line”; time as the point of reference.

"Venus may be on its way out of the morning sky, but it won’t depart until it attends to some important business. On Monday morning, November 13th, the planet passes just 0.3° north of Jupiter in a strikingly close conjunction. Jupiter even pulls out all the stops with its four Galilean satellites spread to either side of its striped globe on that date.

Through a telescope at low to medium magnification (30–100×) the planets will fit in the same field of view, highlighting both their different sizes and reflectivities. Venus, a tiny beacon, will be 10″ across, 97% illuminated, and about 16 times brighter than larger and duller Jupiter.

November marks the giant planet’s grand entry, a return to morning observation after its October 26th solar conjunction. If it weren’t for Venus spinning up the scene, most of us would give Jupiter another week or two to extricate itself from the solar glare before attempting an observation. That’s why it’s important to pick a place with a good view to the east to view the event. From mid-northern latitudes, the two planets will be only about 5° high, or three fingers held together at arm’s length, 45 minutes before sunrise.

Any telescope will show tiny Venus along with Jupiter and its four brightest moons in the same field of view on the 13th. Satellites are Ganymede (III), Io (I), Europa (II), and Callisto (IV). North is up and time is about 6 a.m. CST.

Venus will pop into view first, with Jupiter about 18′ to its right (south). European skywatchers will see them about 2′ closer together. The last time the two brightest planets were this close was on August 27, 2016 (0.1°); the next conjunction, a much looser one, will occur on January 22, 2019. Monday’s close pairing makes a good opportunity to catch Jupiter in daylight. Just keep track of Venus after sunrise — a clock-driven or Go To telescope is preferred — and you’ll easily spot Jupiter, too.

There’s no avoiding the fact that Venus is on its way out of the morning sky. It’s been losing altitude all fall. Tomorrow, November 9th, the planet rises in twilight with a solar elongation of 15°. Moving about 0.9° eastward each day, its distance from the Sun shrinks to 10° by month’s end, making it tricky to find.

Because Venus is approaching superior conjunction (January 9, 2018), when it’s on the opposite side of the Sun from Earth, it appears to move much more slowly. That’s why it’s lingered for months at dawn before making an equally slow transition to the evening sky. At inferior conjunction, when the planet lies between the Earth and Sun, it zips from evening to morning in a matter of days.

Bad weather can always mess up observing plans, so if November 13th looks grim, try the 12th or 14th, when Jupiter and Venus will be about 1° apart. On the 16th, the old Moon drops by, hovering about 6° above the planet pair. An even thinner sliver of Moon shows up 4° to the left (north) of Venus on the 17th, some 24 hours before new Moon for observers in the United States."

I just wanted to add a realization I had this morning. A resolution of a question thats been with me, peacefully, since 1999 or so, when I first attained "Satori"a glimpse of the infinite/void.

In fact the insight is equal to that experience, but Ive explained it now in philosophic/potentially scientific terms.

I realized fully that nothingness must imply infinite potential. And then:

Infinite potential equals no-thing, and that for a thing to come about, it must limit the potential that it takes as it ground.

These phrases don’t fully convey the realization but they should indicate a direction.
The realization was and is very palpable, and needless to say, liberating. There is no difference between the Void and the Immaculate Light. There is no cosmic womb that is not also a fulness to return to. Ive actually understood that this is necessarily the case.

This also suggests a “hell” for being that, during their incarnation, during their becoming-limited, structurally take away from other beings. When they cease to exist, cease to be limited, they return to the laws of fullness, and they will be carrying the consequences of aggressive diminishment with them, and this will have to be rectified for them to be able to be absorbed into the continuum of infinity. So their souls will be torn apart, basically.

This also explains immediately and perfectly why astrology exists, why humans exist in terms of cosmic and planetary configurations. It shows in fact that the opposition is the primordial aspect. Because the only thing that can come close enough to both nothingness and infinity so as to draw structural integrity from these limits is contradistinction.

So we see that the Zodiac, as composed of contradistinctions, is a scheme in which nothingness/infinity can be filtered into limited being, “privilege to act”. I think this means that all beings should be seen as gods with divine prerogative, and that all beings that do not fulfill their divine prerogative but instead, parasite, are in for some really dark consequences.

Very interesting.

Saturn would feel no remorse crushing sociopaths and hypocrites back to “primordial sandgrains”.
The suffering their victims feel in this world is, I realize now, likely nothing compared to what those that out of pure lack of involvement brought about such suffering on innocents will be going through before they meet their end, thoroughly involved by that point, in the consequences of their cruelty.

Myth-forms of the Dionysian type, centralized around the tearing apart of the god by the revellers and vice versa, are now coming into focus as a form of self-redemption of conquering cultures.

Political Consequences:

THE SELF-EXPENDING SOUL HAS FREE REIGN

the other-claiming soul equals the force of torture and has no other self-experience than the modalities of torture.

Is the other bird pleading for his life?
Are they trying to come to some sort of a compromise?
Will he show compassion?

Do birds like this kill one another? Are they really that “human like”?

The screaming bird is a typical modern human. The Hawk is like a God compared to that. Or thats what I see.
I think the Hawk is just imploring, with his gaze, the stubborn, hysterical bird to surrender to reality.
So the Hawk is like Donald Trump and the small bird is North Korea or Spain or some similar country.

ASTROLOGY TIME!!!
Ive been getting back into esoteric astrology of the rays.

Ray 1: Will and Power
Ray 2: Love and wisdom
Ray 3: Active Intelligence
Ray 4: Harmony through Conflict
Ray 5: Concrete Science
Ray 6: Devotion & Idealism
Ray 7: Ceremonial Magic.

Each planet is gives off qualities of specific Rays, which work throughout the cosmos through all solar systems.
You can’t derive the rays you’re on from the radix chart much like you can’t derive a function from its tangent. But often it does give clear enough indication.

The planets as belonging to the Rays are:

Ray 1: Pluto, Vulcan
Ray 2: Sun, Jupiter
Ray 3: Saturn
Ray 4: Mercury, Moon
Ray 5: Venus
Ray 6: Mars, Neptune
Ray 7: Uranus

And the signs:

Ray 1: Aries, Leo, Capricorn
Ray 2: Gemini, Virgo, Pisces
Ray 3: Cancer, Libra, Capricorn
Ray 4: Taurus, Scorpio, Sagittarius
Ray 5: Leo, Sagittarius, Aquarius
Ray 6: Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces
Ray 7: Cancer, Libra, Capricorn

This school holds that we consist of different rays, or are born on a set of rays. Simplified, we have a soul-ray and a personality-ray. where a basic struggle consists of the soul ray taking control of the personality ray throughout the first part of the life, or the whole life.

Today is the half-year festival of the Sagittarius year.

Jupiter is on 19 degrees Sagittarius with Sun on 19 degrees Gemini.

On this occasion, a grand mutable cross is formed with Neptune on 18 Pisces and Moon transiting 19 Virgo.
On top of that Saturn is on 19 Capricorn, with Pluto close on 22.

blacksun?: “So… what does Saturn do after his imprisonment in the Earth?”

Starling: "Prometheus was being chained and tortured for giving the gift of fire-making to humankind. Zeus told him that he would be set free if he would reveal something that only Prometheus could foresee: Who would succeed Zeus as king of the gods? Prometheus never told. The ancient Greeks fancied themselves free from Saturn’s rule, and would never have included a prophecy that Saturn would regain his power. But the Romans had a much more favorable view of Saturn. They feared him but worshipped him at the same time, while still respecting Apollo (without the customary name-change) and acknowledging Jupiter as king of the gods. This was the transition-phase of a Mutable-sign Age to a Cardinal-sign Age, and the Romans were instrumental to that process.

The Sagittarian Age view of Saturn as member of the pantheon of gods and goddesses changed dramatically with the onset of the Age of his Domicile-sign, Cap–the newly formed Roman Catholic Church declared him a fallen Angel, ruler of worldly affairs and stealer of Souls. Tremendous fear of Saturn as “Satan” engulfed the formerly optimistic , Sagittarian worldview, resulting in the “Dark Ages”, which were a period of adjustment. Gradually, Saturn’s rulership was accepted, and is now the standard paradigm. Modern science says there’s no such thing as a “Soul”, so we have nothing to lose!

The resistance to a new Season of Ages is a logical pattern, and causes the full manifestation of a Cardinal-sign Age to occur at the end, with increasing momentum for the Age of Capricorn starting in the last Decant (c.1700 A.D.). The previous Cardinal-sign Age of Libra manifested City-state civilization and written language near the end (c.3100 B.C.E.), and the Fixed-sign Age of Scorpio resulted in the immediate rise of the culture of ancient Egypt. Mutable-Sign Ages manifest full results in the middle Decant, after absorbing from the past achievements of the Age-season in the first Decant; and, then the transitional 3rd Decant at the end of the Age. For the Age of Sagittarius, that most representative middle period ran c.800 to 200 B.C.E., most notably for Western culture in Ancient Greece.

Fixed-sign Ages are primed and ready from the get-go, and manifest full results very early on. They don’t have to contend with that previous seasonal-quadrant resistance."

December 2nd brings Jupiters ingress into Capricorn. Monday, December 2 2019, 12:26:30 PM New York (New York), New York, United States 74.00W ; 40.42N / 5W00, 05:26 PM UT to be precise. At that point Sun is sharply conjunct Pallas, on 10° Sagittarius, for anyone wanting to do some magic then, which would be a waste to forsake or forfeit or forego.

December 21 of course Sun enters Capricorn.

Saturday, December 21 2019, 11:07:30 PM New York (New York), New York, United States 74.00W ; 40.42N / 5W00, 04:07 AM UT to be precise.

The New Jupiter Year starts at December 27,

Friday, December 27 2019, 01:21:30 PM New York (New York), New York, United States 74.00W ; 40.42N / 5W00, 06:21 PM UTto be precise.
Jupiter and Sun will be at 5°42’ Capricorn.

This Venus in Sagittarius is weird.

Uranus and Aquarius defy the dictate of the Sun, they are portals into deeper parts of space. Neptune goes beyond even space and time but does the same, though perhaps rather for moon than Sun.

Saturn is the ego of the Sun, facing his limits. Saturn and Sun are very much one in as far as the personality is concerned, Saturn representing the depth of the awe we have for the Sun. The abyss between the peasant and the Sun king expressed as holy terror. Where only the peasant stood in proper relation to the relation unless were talking about a great magician who is king. But perhaps one had to be a magician to become king of France.

And perhaps the Sun King among the greatest conjurors

Most likely.
Reminds me:

“In old Russia, the Czar, each year, granted-
out of the shrewdness of his own soul or one of
his advisors’- a week’s freedom for one convict
in each of his prisons. The choice was left to the
prisoners themselves and it was determined in
several ways. Sometimes by vote, sometimes by lot,
often by force. It was apparent that the chosen
must be a man of magic, virility, experience,
perhaps narrative skill, a man of possibility, in
short, a hero. Impossible situation at the
moment of freedom, impossible selection,
defining our world in its percussions.”

By the way this is Louis XIV’s chart.
