Flatworld Philosophy 101

Postby D3R7 » Wed Aug 05, 2015 6:59 am

Ask yourself the question: if the world's really flat according to your soul, can't you believe it? Do you simply know the truth? If so, what's really true when the world's really flat? What about the perfectly laid platz of a wealthy town or city, what do they belay to newcomers about the people who live there? We can say such peoples feel invited to enjoy flatworld life as a sign of their culture, as a sign of their prescience.
Do you, by virtue of possessing grace in the natural order of things, feel above and beyond your fellow man?

What do you mean "according to your soul"?

My Soul is a 2-D Holographic projection, its why Searle can't see it.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holographic_principle
The holographic principle is a property of string theories and a supposed property of quantum gravity that states that the description of a volume of space can be thought of as encoded on a boundary to the region—preferably a light-like boundary like a gravitational horizon. First proposed by Gerard 't Hooft, it was given a precise string-theory interpretation by Leonard Susskind[1] who combined his ideas with previous ones of 't Hooft and Charles Thorn.[1][2] As pointed out by Raphael Bousso,[3] Thorn observed in 1978 that string theory admits a lower-dimensional description in which gravity emerges from it in what would now be called a holographic way.

In a larger sense, the theory suggests that the entire universe can be seen as a two-dimensional information on the cosmological horizon,[clarification needed] such that the three dimensions we observe are an effective description only at macroscopic scales and at low energies. Cosmological holography has not been made mathematically precise, partly because the particle horizon has a non-zero area and grows with time.[4][5]

The holographic principle was inspired by black hole thermodynamics, which conjectures that the maximal entropy in any region scales with the radius squared, and not cubed as might be expected. In the case of a black hole, the insight was that the informational content of all the objects that have fallen into the hole might be entirely contained in surface fluctuations of the event horizon. The holographic principle resolves the black hole information paradox within the framework of string theory.[6] However, there exist classical solutions to the Einstein equations that allow values of the entropy larger than those allowed by an area law, hence in principle larger than those of a black hole. These are the so-called "Wheeler's bags of gold". The existence of such solutions conflicts with the holographic interpretation, and their effects in a quantum theory of gravity including the holographic principle are not yet fully understood.

Everyone but Lev lives in 2-D, Lev resides in a three dimensional utopia denying we are flat, that we intact have width.

Lev just doesnt fuckin get it. Why don't you get it Lev?

Because he read or book about Flatland, or heard about it.
Phase one, man objectifies in two cardinal numbers two collections he has counted; phase two, with these numbers he realizes the act of adding them up.

Sure, you might question my knowledge on the subject and I might say that in the end, I don't possess much. But hey, if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck you got a goddamn duty to call it a duck.

I'm just asking what you mean by "according to the soul".

What in the end reaches you, what really make sense? Can't we simply talk about the soul?

I'm not sure that conversations about the soul can be simple if they're to go anywhere.

The soul is another one of these topics where the completely simple response looks to be the enlightened one. There's really no need for the complexity one might otherwise ascribe, such as could be deployed in relation to the mathematics of flatworld geometry, describing for example where a curve touches a plane or where 1 and 3 gives 5. Like projective plane geometry it's a real research opportunity waiting to be explored...

Atop a hill and under a tree
Sitting there for all to see
A boy who knows what life can be
When the living are able to see.

Do we know the myth about Juno, the strongest son of Zeus? He wanted to rule the world by his mitre but a cherub appeared and told him he wasn't big and strong enough. In a fit of rage he smashed his fist on the ground and made the world flat.
