I’m not sure if I understand your question. Alot of people think that the thing in itself exists independent of perception. I think that’s right. Observation of things only gives us a concept of them. That concept doesn’t have to be identical to the thing in order for it to be practically useful to us. Maybe you could elaborate a bit…
