Philosophy Links

Hello

Does anyone have a list of good resources for Philosophy Text?

Many thanks, keep up the good work with ILP.com!

Nicola

I am so sorry; I forgot to add I meant web site links.

Bloody hell, I always wondered if people from Notts uni posted here, tis a good thing I never posted any of my essays in the end.

Noesis hasn’t worked for years, nor hippias its old sister site, which is a shame as they were actually quite good.

I’ve got a huge list of good websites with most of them specifically related to Notts Uni courses, but you’ll have to wait as my computer’s dead and probably will be for a month or two. I found that the most valuable resource while at Uni was the Philosopher’s Index (can be found in the resources bit of the library website, only accessible on campus). For basic introductions to topics Google will usually find you a wealth.

Oh, as a quick reference guide on the web stanford’s a fairly good Philosophy encyclopedia:

plato.stanford.edu/

Here’s a couple of sites I like that have books on them.

gutenberg.org/
archive.org/mediatypes-brows … type=texts

I guess we are all just hiding!

Thanks so much
Nic
