Five great movies

Revenge of the Sith: arguably the best of the original six (just slightly bettered by The Force Awakens). More mature than any of the original trilogy, and more entertaining.

Spectre: the best Bond movie. Performs the genius act of honouring the Bond formula, yet representing reality, being grounded and dark.

The Wolfman (2010): Very mature storyline. Great pacing, and has structure.

Scream 2: perhaps not better than its predecessor, but has a deeply sharp satirical eye, and a great setting with Agnes Scott College (also has a great twist ending - better than the first’s).

Alien: perhaps the most mature movie ever made. Represents reality perfectly well, featuring a brilliant group of characters and a perfect tone.
