Anyone seen this?
I watched it when it came out, it was was right after the Sopranos ended. It is ridiculous. Both the best, and at the end, the worst series HBO ever produced. It only lasted one season. Creator David Milch explained the decision to make a southern California set surferdrama involving what seems to represent the son of god, with “I felt there was something at stake at the time.” I recall that indeed there was, the summer of 2007, something crucial was about to happen.
Who knows it might have been worse now, the crisis might have wiped us all out if John from Cincinnati hadn’t come out.
I can’t see the connection but who knows.
