[Television] Yes, Dear

Let’s face it, television has turned from a house with a couple rooms into an entire city. Most of the streets, most of the exterior of this city are lined with shit - otherwise known as glitz, politics and glammor.

Yes, Dear is a small, brightly lit room in the basement of CBS that for whatever reason is just a great place to be. The comedy follows the lives of two familes who live with each other. The four main characters are comprised of two sisters and their husbands. Due to financial and comedic reasons the more ‘carefree’ of the couples are ‘forced’ to live in the guesthouse of the more wealthy couple.

While maintaining the contrast of these two ways of living various life fiobles unplay in a pleasant, healthy, family manner. I find this show so funny and I’m not even part of its demographic. It’s G rated even compared to something like Seinfeld but yet there seems to be something to relate to for everyone.
