Transracials

I think this guy is either seriously confused, mentally ill, or is simply trying to get attention. Well, if he was bi-racial maybe he could have said that (just as Obama identified himself as black). But he has nothing to base his assertions except his own personal feelings and perceptions. Even if you’re white who was born and raised in Phillipines you could not claim to be Asian. Culturally Philippino maybe, but not racially. In a scenario where culture is not dependent on race (that is, where all cultures are deeply mixed race cultures) this could make sense because by being mixed anyone could hypothetically claim any race of which he’s part of. But this guy has no valid basis for his claim. He may be able to call himself transcultural, but not transracial. (Not yet anyway). This group may in the future try to gain political and social acceptance, but it will be quite ambitious move on their part. Though advances in cosmetic surgery may facilitate this possibility.
