Ha, thanks.. boring and terrible.

I'm not sure if anaesthetic is the trigger, or merely the worst trigger out of a bunch of triggers, but it seems to take a year to recover from it. I've only had anaesthetic 3 times in my life, so never saw the correlation between it and a declining standard of living, as the fatigue happens over a period of weeks.

...also no grain pulses or fungi, but I do eat them occasionally.. at my peril. :|

Half of one of these big guys (I bought down the road earlier.. along with a large slab of fresh salmon and a whole large calamari):

Turned into this.. a crab and sweetcorn broth.. flavoured with fresh ginger chilli and garlic:

The other half of that heady mix will be turned into paleo omelette muffins.. to fuel my day of political campaigning 'tup North' (as they say up North) tomorrow.. along with copious amounts of green and white-leaf tea, and fresh ground black coffee (if I can find some).

A large (double) lamb kofta, with salad garnish and hummus and chilli sauce, rolled in a flatbread wrap... next time single/one kofta is enough. :|

Stuffed!

Had to google that since it sounded good. May try making that sometime though lamb isn't behind the meat counter here, maybe a beef kofta dish. Did you prepare or was that carry out?

They can also be made from chicken or turkey mince.. never seen a beef or pork version, but I'm guessing they can be made from any mince.

I bought one of these types of kofta wraps to take away, from a well-renowned Turkish restaurant near me:

...after coming from this event.. the London one held at 1 Marylebone.. I was merry on just 3 cocktails, only 3 cocktails :o so mixing one's drinks really does work ;)

I have had many (light, not too late) suppers since my last posting, but tonight is a very late one of diced pan-fried chuck beef steak and macaronied-courgette... I won't be waking up starving, as per. The rest will be for lunch or brunch tomorrow.

..consumed just over 3,000 calories at EoP yesterday.. mainly consisting of Organic red wine, protein, and non-GMO popcorn, after going on a long walk to collect signatures for our LEs in May.. I think I needed them. :|

2 scrambled eggs and a coffee earlier today, so a steak and simple salad dinner await.. along with a few rum cocktails..

..cob-popped, sugar and salt flavoured, popcorn.. rum cocktails.. and the second half of Pacific Rim, 2013.

My friend delaying today's outing by one hour, has made me far too relaxed to leave the house.. only the dull miss the witching hour and arrive brutally late, and intentionally so..

Preferable to wheat pasta? ..probably! SO good in stirfrys, salads, and with red or green curries... my preference is for spaghettied-courgette.. the 100% certified allergen-free choice du jour.

Does that amount last you a day or 2?

Green tea makes a good base for cocktails.
