I'm not sure if anaesthetic is the trigger, or merely the worst trigger out of a bunch of triggers, but it seems to take a year to recover from it. I've only had anaesthetic 3 times in my life, so never saw the correlation between it and a declining standard of living, as the fatigue happens over a period of weeks.

...also no grain pulses or fungi, but I do eat them occasionally.. at my peril. :|

Half of one of these big guys (I bought down the road earlier.. along with a large slab of fresh salmon and a whole large calamari):

Turned into this.. a crab and sweetcorn broth.. flavoured with fresh ginger chilli and garlic:

The other half of that heady mix will be turned into paleo omelette muffins.. to fuel my day of political campaigning 'tup North' (as they say up North) tomorrow.. along with copious amounts of green and white-leaf tea, and fresh ground black coffee (if I can find some).

A large (double) lamb kofta, with salad garnish and hummus and chilli sauce, rolled in a flatbread wrap... next time single/one kofta is enough. :|

Had to google that since it sounded good. May try making that sometime though lamb isn't behind the meat counter here, maybe a beef kofta dish. Did you prepare or was that carry out?

They can also be made from chicken or turkey mince.. never seen a beef or pork version, but I'm guessing they can be made from any mince.

...after coming from this event.. the London one held at 1 Marylebone.. I was merry on just 3 cocktails, only 3 cocktails :o so mixing one's drinks really does work ;)
