Believe it or not, not everything a woman does, every thought that goes through her head, and everything that comes out of her mouth is designed to get the attention of men. A really good Japanese kid's tv show. I was surprised by the maturity level of the content for this age group. Why don't we have more thoughtful/useful tv shows for American kids of the same age group? Most of the material on tv aimed at kids/teenagers is saturated with fantasy/fairy tale and all things fantastic and supernatural: vampires, wizards, aliens, superheroes, etc. It's like being back in the kindergarten.
(and it's really sad to see a 40-something woman on a bus reading a Harry Potter novel.)
