X-mas idealism

wow. in begining to write this story i come across a big change.
This may need to be moved to philosophy board since its becoming less and less mundante

The different or complexity of man can be seen in our childhood myths.

To make something belivable to a child, who using his imagination would belive in anything from talking dinosaurs to big bird, But to make it belivable we have to make it so complex and put it above question.

X-mas story. To make santa belivable we had to give him magical abilities to explain how he does it all in one night, which is a bit odd since the entire world doesnt belive in santa in this form, or doesnt happen the same night. We had to give him a sleigh to hold infinite # of presents. And had to create reindeer that can fly to explain how the sled moves. And to explain the presents we had to come up with an army of elves.

In olden days we could use the GOD CARD. How does zeuse shoot lighting? cause he is a god. The unexplained was sumed up…
now we would probably need to find out how he got the ability, or give him magical braces that gave him the ability.

BUT is this complexity need due to industrial civilization’s complexity?

Yes, I would think so. A child sees reality with new eyes. And when he questions something in the real world, somebody will give that child an answer. They would keep asking, “why?” until they get to the root of the source. Myths have to copy life.
