My Personal Philosophy Book

Ever since I was a kid I have been documenting many of the occurences in my life, with a focus on thoughts. I later put everything together and through the help of someone else, I came to realize that much of what I was writing was philosophy. So it became my philosophy book. I decided to share many of the thoughts within my philosophy book with all of you, to hear what you all think. Unlike my usual posts you may find the following posts from me to be very choppy, I hope I succeed on some level of entertaining and more importantly, in opening peoples minds with what follows…

So what happens when we lie?
What does God do?
Can he do anything?

  • If lying in court after swearing an oath would be seen as a sin then the person lying will be forgiven after they go to church, but what about the person whom just got convicted of a crime they did not commit? If that person whom lied is not forgiven then that means they will go to hell, won’t it? If they go to hell then every single witness that has eer been on the stand and lied is in hell. Since when has a court room turned into sentencing of the witness into heaven or hell based on whether they tell the truth or not. God stated in the ten commandments that thou shall not kill, how many people - I’m sorry, I mean how many criminals have gotten off in this very court room after murdering someone? If your answer to that question is one or higher then this court has committed a crime according to God, and will be sentenced to hell. Where does God say what I did was wrong? And if he does, isn’t it up to him to punish me? If not, isnt it upto him to decide what the punishment should be, like eye for an eye? I say to you that you are telling me God does not exist, you are just using the idea of God to get the truth from people, and if you do believe in God then I will place my right hand on the bible and swear oath of my innocence or guilt and the case is closed. You are not God, because you are not, you are also not qualified to rule the rest of my life because you could be making a mistake because you cannot guarantee 100% to me or anybody that I am guilty or not guilty. With all this in mind you cannot guarantee me a fair trial unless you step down from your chair and God sits down in it. You are violating my right to a fair trial which the constitution demands I get.

P.s. posting these ideas makes me see my own errors, but I leave them as they are in their original form, I think it will create more conversation that way.

What’s your take?

Okay, come on people…can I get some incentive here? Is the silence an indication that I have a good grasp of what I am saying and no one disagrees, or does nobody care what I have to say, or is the topic just boring? Anything, just let me know what you think.

Anyway, another idea…

"To teach someone faster than they can question the teachers teaching, is to stop that person from learning and start them memorizing. How much do we know, and how much of our thought to be knowledge is memorization?

Only knowledge (reason), not memorization separates us from animals and mere computers. That and image." ~Magius

The Capitalistic Takeover

Everything in todays society is money oriented no matter who you are or what you do. People believe that they are free regardless of the society, government, and culture they live in. People believe that the things society has you do (e.g. job, school) are part of your freedom to be a better person, not part of money. Although they believe it, it is not so. Lets start off with schooling, you go to elementary school, highschool, and finally college or university. The reason the government wants you to go to elementary school is so you can read, write, and speak. Sounds like they are looking out for you, right? Sounds like this is something you need and could use to your benefit, lucky for us it is; but that isn’t the governments intention. The reason the government has you learn these things is so that when you grow up you are profitable to the government. A person who cannot speak, read, or write is of no use to the government. The better you are trained in school the more money you will make the government. Highschool like college and university are the main areas of proof of the governments sadistic way of finding just the perfect place for your soul to work in and find comfort. The courses you take in highschool/college/university are prepicked by an assembly. This assembly has only one thing in mind, and that is to run things so that money goes the governments way so that the assembly may remain and the members continue to make income. What ever jobs are important at the time of your economy’s crash or boom are represented by your colleges list of choices for your year. You cannot find a course, for example, in log cabin building. Though 300 years ago that was a very valuable asset. What is important for the economy these days is that you know computers and have business knowledge of todays market economy. We are being fitted, brainwashed, programed, whatever you want to call it, society is forming us into what will make the few the biggest buck.

After schooling you’re sent to a job or career to spend the rest of your life working, making the government those huge dollar signs they were imagining even before you were born. People believe that its the government giving us the big dollars, but this isnt so. An easy example can be used to explain this.

1: Health care was free in socialistic countries, there were no taxes (Ie. Czechoslovakia) - yet the government had money.

2: Schooling, as well as, books were free. - yet the government had money.

3: If you make $50,000/yr you fit into the 40% category. This means that the government takes away $20,000 from your pay each year. You are left with $30,000. Majority of the time careers make you work 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. This means that you work anywhere from 1800 to 2080 hours a year. This means that at the 1800 hours a year you’re making $16.66/hr (take home) - at 2080 hours you’re making $15.25/hr. Now what about the necessities of life that the government is supposed to provide for you by the constitution? Rent on average is $800 a month. You make approx $2,400 a month. You are now left with $1,600/month. Car insurance, because you need a car to get to work, costs approx $150/month. You’re left with $1,450/month. Food costs atleast $400/month, add in clothing, add in little tif bit things that you buy like magazines, gum, sunglasses, etc, and we’re now looking at a minimum of another $500 on top of the $400, you are now left with $550/month. We still aren’t counting vacations, cable, telephone bill, buying a car, going out to movies, paying for a date, buying a computer, buying furniture, internet access, christmas and birthday presents, parking and speeding tickets. So lets forget about all these things and give the government the benefit of the doubt, and lets see how much we make a year with $550 a month…$6,600 a year.
What can you do with $6,600 a year? Maybe we should add all the things we took out. What happened to the other $43,400? I mean this is only considering the most bare essentials that every natural human being needs, not wants, NEEDS! What happened to all those years of schooling, studying, staying at home? Were they worth $6,600 a year? NO. What do we do? Make it on our own! Do whatever it takes to make money whether legal or illegal. Does not matter what you have to do or whom you have to go through, its a jungle out there and only the fittest survive. I don’t think people should really be like this, just shedding some light on maybe why people are the way they are. This is why there are as many crooked people as there are. But the government will tell you that it is because of human nature to do wrong, or that there was something wrong with their upbringing, or that there was a chemical imbalance in the brain, but they will never say or admit that the system they have created evolves human actions to such things. They have all their bases covered, do you?

Well for one I agree with the first thing you wrote… If that’s possible. It makes sense atleast. But they could just take out the whole under oath crap and you’d be left with a weak arguement. I don’t think your point was to attack the courts but more religion. But I don’t care much for religion anyway so… wut eva.

Hence my hatred for schools. If only people cared about teaching their kids or better yet the kids cared about learning. I go to school and every day on my walk home feel jipped out of a potential learning experience. Instead knowledge is taught with lame jokes to keep people interested repetative questioning or dumbed down facts that help people memorize the general idea for short periods of time. I don’t know about anyone else but it makes questions a hell of a lot easier when the whole friggen puzzle is together. Instead of knowing answers to questions I’d rather know the whole situation of why the answer is which ever.

I liked “The Capitalistic Takeover”. It reminded me of the topic I made with the title “does the government give or take rights away” or something. We are born free and then forced into a system where we end up wasting the rest of our lives working or doing some other stressful bullshit. Yet we deal with it daily and consider it life which is ever so frustrating. I don’t see how anyone can work. I don’t get it. Hopefully someone will be explain to me that I’m being a pessimistic idiot.

And thus my rant begins…

I was being forced out of my house at the age of 16 by my mom and realized that I couldn’t possibly get a job that would pay for anything. Even necessities I would need to survive would be hard to get. Then thinking about that I figured well I could live with a friend and rent out their parents apartment for a few years but that would be way too hard and the biggest waste of life. I’d have school which is 6 hours of bullshit. Then sleep which is supposed to be 8 but I’ll give myself 6 because it’s what I normally get. So that’s half a day already. Eating and showering and all that stuff would be atleast 2 hours a day. Then work which would probably be the rest of my day or leave me with a few hours of enjoyment. And being the pay for a kid is like $5 an hour after all the taxes are taken out I’d be making about $280 a week or $1120 a month. So I figure unless I worked at a food place I’d be dead by the time it takes an average person to starve. But that’s just a kid. Then I figured what the hell would my life be like if I grew up and got an average job. I figured I’d work probably a day less and I would have like 4 hours a day to do whatever I want. 4 Hours and then sunday.

I personally don’t want to spend the rest of my life working. It’s really discouraging waking up every day following a system that you can’t get out of. The only way really is to get a lot of money. But that takes time. Time I do not have. I don’t want to waste my prime on making money that would be shallow and rather unenjoyable. So I look for a job that takes the least amount of time to complete in a day so I have time to do what I want. But what can I do getting paid shit money? It’s like… lemons with no lemonade maker.

I feel your pain, and I just want to add, that it appears to be the case that the only way to get out of the system is to go through the system and then break it. I plan to change the world, because of short life spans and lack of influence, he key way to make change is to go right to the top and change the few people that are running the world, or atleast it’s money.

Love like life is very simple in the context of one person, but very confusing to understand in the context of two people, what they truly want, what they truly feel, and what they truly expect. We all say “I like this…” and “I want that…” but we all mean it in different degrees. Which is why I believe that love is not truly love until you have been with the person for many years.

Love is only true love when you have experienced all sides of the relationship, the ups and the downs. Too many people avoid situations thinking that they will just pass. Ie. A guy may tell his girlfriend that he doesn’t feel good and wants to go home because they are at a party and there are good looking guys that he fears his girlfriend will become attracted to and fall in love with. This is just one example, but the point is that if a situation happens, let it happen, if you try to stop it it will just happen at a later date when you can’t stop it. My ex-girlfriends were always surprised at my level of indepedance and coolness in a situation that would make most guys cringe - it’s not because I think I am the best or that I am invincible, but just an understanding of life. I also think that when two people truly love each other they still have arguments, the only difference is that somewhere in the back of their mind (but still conscious) they want to make that person feel good.
