Has anyone seen the Lucian Freud exhibition at Tate Britain?
What did you think of it?

so I didnt know what to make of Pangloss’ Lucian Freud post, so with the help of Yahoo Search in association with Google, I became more acquainted with this Freud character (thanks for the continuous alienation Sir Pangloss) and found out about his work.

was revolting.
it does have a realistic sense to it tho, especially the first old man.
http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/exh/ART13114.html, then the 2nd page grew on me, the one entitled Hotel Bedroom speaks for itself. I really like it.
you knew, he started to grow on me. At first sight.
I think these are the ones you’re most likely to see at the exhibition

there’s one entitled, reflection… i’m wondering why is he painting in the nude, but then (out of boredom) i started to stare more and more indepthly and then i came up with the shitty analysis that the painting of himself was so passionate. Look at the detail. Look at his face and every curve umm… edge of his body.
From the pics I see, I can judge that thee are all self explanatory pictures as he takes time with every detail…theres no aspect of fantasy.
you know what??
somebody else post after me. I’m getting too mushy. I guess it’s too late.
G’nite.
