I believe psychopaths do have various feelings [hunger, sexual, rage, envy, pain, pleasure, etc.] but they CANNOT feel what another person is experiencing from within the other being’s frame of reference, i.e., the capacity to place oneself in another’s position.

Apparently your responses in this case do not reflect empathy. It is not easy to empathize from within the other being’s frame of reference. The ability empathize need sufficient higher developed neurons, i.e. mirror neurons.
