The Exile A Short Story

My new short story “The Exile” strives to try to be about everything. An ancient mystic from the city of Babylon was exiled into the desert to let God determine his fate. On the seventh day of roaming it he discovers the garden of Eden, where he is forced to live out his life in isolation. There he studies Nature, and questions Good and Evil concerning a providential God. For forty-circling centuries he searched for answers, but while he’s there, a darkness in the forest crouches nearer, and he must wrestle his inner demon. Finding Truth in his shadow, he then makes an arduous journey to return home and bring humankind a message.

It’s a Romantic work, but very philosophical because the Mystic is a polymath, and has encounters in the town square, where he tries to free people’s minds from the shackles of society.

It’s available on Amazon, but you can follow the link below and read it on wattsapp.
