spiderwebs

Ideas spinning
silvery white
entraptions, and illusions
no prey tonight
I'll stay hiding
in moonlight
waiting till the time is right
I'm looking for the perfect place
to spin a Web
of sticky silvery thread
Where a connection is made
and if your not
looking out
you might not escape

I like that. Is it about a spider or about yourself? :evilfun:

Nice imagery. I could see him.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
Viktor E. Frankl

It Felt Love

How did the rose
Ever open its heart
And give to this world
All its beauty?
It felt the encouragement of light
Against its being,
Otherwise,
We all remain
Too frightened

I'm working on my poetry ;)

Thank you, Arcturus :) I don't consider myself a poet. I usually keep my writings raw, and somewhat defined, and to myself. This one is attached to my memories, the theme light and darkness. I once had a spider in my backyard too, that I would visit.

Also about healing.

I have enjoyed many of your poems, the one about the Arcturus brings back fun imagery :)

After posting this last year, it was odd that I had noticed alot of spiders for a couple of months.
