Torn

Between the ideals of an exemplary time, of brotherhood,

Of the seen with the unseen,

The diamond tear rolling down the ivory maiden forgotten
And forlorn,

And the vagrancy of unmasked desire, shortened and shortcut tend
In-enduringly forgotten
Within annals of time,

Sad German songs of the era of the Knights,
And old abrahamic fiddles on the roof,

Oh such mixes can one at all delineate,
The romance and the desire no inroads into
A peaceful resolution make
Centuries of discontent
And a minute of jubilation,
At one,
At once,

Either into barbaric delight,
Or ever so kind,

Sensual programs of infinitessimal caresses into the twilight,
Of the
Gods.
