Two short war poems

A couple of short verses on war composed by Christian Bane Neilson:
The Somme of Verdun (±1...)

Do you know what you're meant to do but you mustn't?
Do you know what you're not meant to do but you must?
Do you do what must be done because they told you to do it?
Do you simply do what's required to live because you really don't want to die?

Real Barbarossa (un\)

Drug one, real halogen, it's right in the head
They let you down like a balloon you got no halo instead
Or simply suck a shot of helium like smokin' for gain
Gotta get some real novacaine to conquer the stain.
