What pity wrought
Tis was the draught
These places always seem
So foreign to me
Twas once a shining star
Up high and up afar
Tis no more shining more
But shined from shore to shore
But brief do pleasures make
The waning of our fate
Twill light will see a far
A bright and shining star.
