A Pretender of the Writers World

I am merely new to writing but so far I have written a play for college and it is being peformed as one of three plays for our end of year show so I can safely say I guess I might have just a pin prick of talent! Just that though.

I want to share with you one of my poems I wrote any comments are welcome:

Delving into the mind what pleasures you find there,
So many things to see but do you have time to stop and stare?,
Look deeply into thoughts of childhood,
Here many things are misunderstood,

Do you know where you came from and why?,
It is all in the beholder's eye,
Once a secrect locked up tight,
A thought becomes a dreamscape at night,

Life is one big mystery,
Take a footstep and you shall see,
There are many paths to choose,
But really is there anything to lose?

It's just a taster of what I do!
"Love the art in yourself not yourself in the art."
