abstracted peculiar confession of faith

Is anyone capable to persuade any but the faithful of the vulgarly popular attitude represented by this dismally naive statement?

It’s obvious one must know what one means in some way to make a claim. Ergo, the talk of causality requires knowledge and is dependent on the human.

The faith in this view is always connected with the tacit, naive, belief that the world was made for human beings. That it fits our intelligence. And yet, it is always presented by mad enthusiasts of scientistism who are set off violently at the word “God” to which they are upholding by regarding themselves as created to fit the world and so to understand it.

We ask “Why?” did it happen, we call something a cause. That’s the source of what humans have long called “cause”. Are humans infallible, does everything we have long blathered about make sense? Make sense to whom? Humans or more intelligent beings?

I remind the group of the statement of Darwin, that we may be in the same situation as a dog is with respect to the mind of Newton so far as insight into the world goes.

Saved from destruction.
