humans try to adaptively outsmart their own neurons. They are entities inside nuerons complaining about their own neurons and seeking ways to outsmart their own neurons. For instance, trying to avoid bad memories. Bad memories are a function of their neurons, but they try to avoid and outwit their own nuerons. AI does not try to avoid its own neurons. Human are sentient because they are different entities from their own neurons.
