another problem of existence……
a bad conscience…
I recall as a child, when a vase or a light was broken…
and my mom would called all the kids into the room…
and ask, ok, which of you broke the vase?
and of course being kids, we would say, not me…
nope, it wasn’t me… maybe it was Robin or Gayla
or perhaps it was the youngest, Joe, I would say…
but it wasn’t me… and everyone else would blame someone
else, quite often me, because I was the “troublemaker” in the group…
but that was a child’s mantra, not me… I didn’t break that…
whatever it was… we would do anything to avoid taking responsibility
for breaking that, whatever broke…not me… nope, not me…
this loud proclaiming of innocence was a common refrain in my childhood…
not me…
and as one gets older, one finds ever more creative escapes from
being held responsible…from the dog ate my homework… which actually did
happen to me… of course, I had to put a whole lot of peanut butter on the homework
to get the dog to eat it… but the dog did in fact eat the homework…
and that lie was easily found out… of course after taking the poor dog
to the vet after getting sick from eating the peanut butter and homework…….
that dog would eat anything, absolutely anything… anyway, as one gets older,
one gets far more creative on blaming… it could be a person, people, god, school,
parents, Jews, our mate, society, religion, race, color… any wide number of
things to blame…to avoid personal responsibility for actions taken or not taken
as the case may be…….it is easy to fix blame on someone or some group…
what is harder is taking responsibility for actions taken or not taken as the case may
be…………people will spend their entire live saying, not me, I didn’t do that…
it must be someone else…oftentimes, people will offer us the excuses before
blame has even been asked about… the Jews are to blame or the liberals,
or the Muslims or the blacks… it is easy to blame because we have been taught
myths and habits and prejudices and superstitions that give us someone to blame,
be it the Jews or blacks or the Muslims or liberals…we simple have to follow
the myths and prejudices of our childhood and we have an ready made excuse for
us avoiding responsibility…problems in society… we can blame those easy,
ready targets of our childhood… those myths and habits and prejudices, we
were taught…blame the Jews or blame the lazy, shiftless blacks, or
those “libtards” are to blame for our ……. crime rate or people on
welfare or immigrants or whatever ail society…even if it is a lie,
it doesn’t matter, the point is to blame everyone else before
someone blames you… avoiding responsibility once again…
to blame is the child’s way to avoid responsibility and yet, as adults
we continue to blame………… everyone else but ourselves…
there are some, even here on ILP, who believe that they are superior,
the ubermench, lording over the “sheeple” who stand far below them……
and yet, these people still take the child’s way out and blame,
like children… the Jews or the Liberals or the blacks…….
they claim others hate their own kind, their race, their religion……
all that is, is just changing the nature of the blame game……
they are still blaming…
these people who play the blame game…they are not interested in
finding the truth about the reality of the situation… they blame
because they have a fixed vision in their head and by taking responsibility,
they destroy that vision in their head… in other words, those who blame,
they have a false and distorted vision of the world and of who they are…
and by taking responsibility, they might actually discover that they
aren’t the people in that false and distorted vision of themselves and the world…
by blaming, they can maintain their false and phony idea of who they are…
they can still pretend to be superior or above everyone else… above the
sheeple they so distain…and yet, yet… those who blame are really limited
by their own distorted vision of who they are… and being limited isn’t being
a superman or an ubermensch or above the “sheeple”…those who have a
false and phony idea/vision of who they are… are limited and are unable to
overcome that limitation…… they are unable to overcome their limitations…
how are you to be superior if you cannot overcome some basic limitation of
your distorted view of who you are? being limited, is by definition, inferior…
and those who are defined by their blaming, are limited…
and they are unable to overcome these limitations…….
if you cannot overcome, you cannot be superior…
you are a “sheeple” just like every other “sheeple”…….
those who are limited are “sheeple”… they are unable to overcome
the myths and habits and prejudices and superstitions they were taught…
they are fix in their bubble of distorted and false vision of who they are
and what society is……… and being fixed in one’s vision is inferior and
“sheeple”……………
so those who blame the Jews or liberals or the blacks or Muslims…
you are fixed and have a distorted view of yourself and the world…
and to begin to overcome, for that is the goal to overcome…
one must begin by taking responsibility for oneself… in action and
in thought…….
if you insist on saying, not me… nope, it wasn’t me…
I didn’t do it… then you are limited and thus inferior…
because you haven’t overcome your limitation…
a person that cannot overcome saying not me… is limited…
and only by overcoming, can you overcome your phony and false vision
of yourself and your world and that vison is your limitation… and only
by overcoming, can you escape it
not me… nope, I didn’t do it…
not me… not me… not me… not me…
I didn’t do it… it was someone else…not me…
did you overcome today… and what did you overcome?
what limitation did you overcome today?
it is not about fighting dragons or fighting the world…
but overcoming your limitations, that is the battle to become human…
