What's for dinner?

An aromatic Lamb burger, and carrot and ginger slaw… eating clean and green… all planet organic and free-range and that.

A takeaway… of Tandoori Mini mixed-grill… would hate to see the size of the Normal, Bombay aloo paloong… the remainder of which I’ll have tomorrow, 2 poppadoms, and a mango chutney dip.

Oh, and a detox-tea, to go with…

Why the boiled egg, and why does the pickle look like a slug?

The boiled egg is a ceremonial custom my pagan ancesters have practiced for nine generations. Anytime the western capitalist empire begins approaching a socialism and falls into nihilistic abrahamic degeneracy, we eat a boiled egg on the 23rd of every September to remember and commemorate our roots. My grandfather ate a boiled egg in that very egg server when the new deal was signed.

The pickle is actually a giant chloroplasmic space slug from another solar system. You almost nailed it.

I think you might well be fibbing, as that’s a very tall tale you tell,
but it has a touch of the deja-vus, so it could well be an annual occurrence,
a happening that has been documented before… in the land of Prom.

A belated Bon Appetite… coz I fell asleep.

Not sure yet… something that harks of Sundays and Autumn though… dunno what though.

Oxtail, so enough of red meat for now.

Today, it was a very tasty chicken stir-fry, which consisted of diced-chicken breast, julienned ginger and red chilli, chopped garlic, fresh sweetcorn kernels, both red and white shredded chicory (endive), and sugar and lemon… to taste, with tagliatellied-courgette added at the end.

Hmmm… I should have added julienned carrots… next time.

Now making a slab of hazelnut chocolate, from scratch… so with raw ingredients.

_
…and a sprinkling of crushed sea-salt flakes, to bring out the intensity of the chocolate… it’s just never the same without it.

_
Same as yesterday… chicken & vegetable stir-fry, but the sweetcorn being replaced with julienned carrots… I have to limit my grain intake greatly, you see…

I think the holi culinary trinity of ginger, chilli, and garlic, is very good for one’s biological health.

Minced-lamb and carrot hash, with sweet-potato and shredded chicory-leaf colcannon. :stuck_out_tongue:

Image to follow… I’m starving.

Dinner, from a few days back… lamb shoulder and vegetable stirfry. Today’s dinner was an
equally delicious, chicken wing & vegetable stirfry.

Reel bacon!?

…that stuff gives me gut pain, from whatever they use in the smoking process.

Did you have bacon with that bacon, or just bacon?

pop i wish you’d try the low fat bacon
well you can wish in one hand and crap in the other
and see which gets filled first

my mom used to say this all the time when i was a kid but not the bacon part low fat bacon is an abomination

“well you can wish in one hand and crap in the other
and see which gets filled first”

Burgess meredith would totally say that. That’s why you’d be a good writer because you can imagine what would be well said by a particular kind of personality.

nah the only thing i’m good at
is recognizing the movie reference in the vid you posted
and remembering another line from it

This ^^^ will soon be a T-bone steak and sweet-potato fries, dinner,
served with a home-made salsa verde, of thyme, lemon thyme, and marjoram…
coz that’s the only herbs I’ve got.

The steak pan-fried and finished off in the oven…
The fries double-cooked to ensure maximum crispness…

Oh yeah… and sipping on a Bacardi n fresh lime-juice spritzer, whilst I wait.

Ready in 5…
