No, the knife problem isn’t because of the availability of knives, but rather the low level of trust you have in your citizens, or should I say subjects. They aren’t raised to be community centric, responsible.

The knife-stashing demographic have proven time and again that they cannot be trusted, but do cities and towns even allow knives to be carried around in public? it is a criminal offence here, but probably not so in a village type setting… where your ideal above would be the norm.

It really is that simple. Just focus on making better citizens, and you don’t have to fear them. Only in places where we can’t encourage this thinking, like in liberal strongholds, is it dangerous. They keep them impoverished and deranged, dog eats dog. It isn’t a good way to live, as a mere subject if the Democratic party, or of a queen. Goal is to be a good citizen, having a population that lives for and carries on for itself, seeking out the greater good.

It is an offence to carry anything that can be used as a weapon here… unless it can be justified for work purposes or such, and trust me when I say… you cannot trust the average person here to autonomously conduct themself in a moral manner in cities and towns.
